Young Endeavour Scholarship 2019

The Cairns RSL Sub Branch is once again offering a full Scholarship to one Cairns youth aged 16-23. They will be given the opportunity to experience a Voyage on the Young Endeavour sailing from Cairns to Airlie Beach 13th June to 23rd June this year 2019.
To apply for the Scholarship you must:
- Be able to attend the Voyage from 13th June to 23rd June.
- Meet the criteria set out below.
- Submit an application to the Sub Branch by Email or Mail, or in Person.
- Supplying your full personal details.
- Supplying, up to 1000 words, of why you feel you
should be selected, what you hope to achieve from
the experience and how you can relate that
experience to your own school/professional life.
Entries close Fri, 31st May 5pm and the successful candidate will be announced 3rd June.

Young Endeavour Criteria, applicants must:
- be Australian citizens or permanent residents
- be aged 16-23 years on the day the voyage departs
- weigh less than 120kg
- be able to swim 50 metres
- be in good health
