Volunteers are the heart of the Cairns RSL Sub Branch and an integral part of all levels of our operations. Volunteers often help keep the doors open and enable non-profits to deliver vital programs and services.
By volunteering, people can give something of themselves and make a valuable contribution to the community while perhaps learning new skills and improving their health and well-being.
Volunteers lend their expertise to a arrange of areas from the Board of Directors, to fundraising campaigns, special events, and often work in direct customer service roles.
Here at the Cairns RSL Sub Branch our amazing volunteers, run a world-class museum, work as Wellbeing Support Offices, perform requiems, run monthly markets, organise the Sub Branch merchandise, help with community events when required, have a Pipes and Drum Band, and work with the Sub Branch team to organise Commemorative events. These are just a few of the areas that our volunteers are involved in.
The Cairns RSL Sub Branch could not function at such a high standard without the vital assistance of our volunteers.
