Each year we host the event to celebrate women in our community and in particular within our Defence Community. We recognise those women who have served or are serving our country and the outstanding achievements they have made during their service.

International Women’s Day is celebrated across the world on 8th March annually. The purpose of the day is to recognise women and their achievements regardless of nationality, ethnicity or cultural, political or economic background.
