Cairns veteran Business network
Most people don’t give much thought about who owns a local business. But what if we told you there are a significant number of veteran owned businesses, and businesses that are Veteran employment friendly in our region? Would it change where you shop? Over 50% of veterans own or run their own business after they leave the service.
The Cairns Veteran Business Network (CVBN) was establishing in February 2020 to identify owned and operated businesses of Veterans, as well as those that support Our Defence Family through positive employment practices of Veterans, to enable us to grow ‘Stronger Together’. Our aim is to increase exposure of CVBN members businesses, offer networking opportunities, provide marketing support and access information and services that can increase business efficiency.
