Wellbeing

We can provide assistance on a case-by-case bases to those in need.

Funeral Services

The loss of one of our Defence Family members affects us all. We consider it to be our obligation to ensure that no digger is laid to rest alone and that their sacrifices are remembered and recognised appropriately.

We have RSL Representatives that will attend the funeral services of our fallen comrades. Our Poppy funeral service ensures those who have served are remembered with the Ode and the Last Post as special recognition of their services.

Home & Hospital Visits

Our volunteers will come to you – where and when you need it the most.  We will come to your home or hospital bed and can help in the following ways:

  • Providing mateship
  • Assist with simple jobs around the house
  • Help with transitioning from hospital back to home

Mateship & Comradery

The Sub Branch brings people together who understand and have been through the same/similar experiences as you. We know the meaning of mateship and comradery in a way that most civilians don’t. Our members are there for one another and are more than happy to lend a helping hand or listening ear. The Sub Branch runs a number or activities throughout the year which will give you the opportunity to connect with likeminded people.  Alternatively, the door is always open, and you are welcome to drop by for a coffee and chat.
